The New Zealand Catholic Bishops Conference has announced the appointment of two new staff members — Kate Aduna and David McLoughlin, looking after administration and communications.
Ms Aduna previously held a support role with JP Morgan in Manila. She spent several years volunteering with her local Wellington Catholic primary school, having been at home with her daughter.
Mr McLoughlin, the new communications adviser, has experience in communications across a range of sectors, including international and national government agencies, media advisory and journalism.
In the meantime, the bishops have chosen Hamilton
Bishop Stephen Lowe as the new secretary of the NZCBC, replacing Bishop Charles Drennan.
