In December 2015,Fr Alex Vickers, OP returned to New Zealand for the 60th wedding anniversary celebrations of his parents, Kath and Maurice.

Fr Alex presided at a service for his parents at St Dominic’s Church, Blockhouse Bay, where
his parents are parishioners, on December 10.
Fr Alex is superior of a Dominican community in Adelaide, South Australia.
Mrs Vickers celebrated her 95th birthday earlier this year.
