AUCKLAND Module three of Worshipping Under Southern Skies: Rediscovering the Beauty of the Mass will be launched on May 25, the feast of Corpus Christi. This module entitled Movements of the Mass is the third of a four-module national catechesis for the introduction of the revised Roman Missal. It will focus on the ritual changes that the revised General Instruction of the Roman Missal is asking Catholics to attend to in the celebration of the Eucharist.
Module three was first scheduled for release last September.
According to the working party for the programme, the delay came about as the New Zealand bishops conference awaited confirmation from Rome of a New Zealand version of the GIRM.
