Our thoughts are incomplete; when they are complete, it doesn’t work – says the Holy Father.

were in positions of “authority” took
a close hard look at the reality of
what is termed “Sacrament” and how
many today are really interested in
following.
Facts must be faced.
1. Why is there a paucity of
youth following the faithful in
church on a Sunday for mass.
2. Why is there so few vocations
to the priesthood and religious
life?
3. Why are there so few who attend
confession?
4. WHO are the active members of
church and in what way?
5. Why is it that the birth rate of
every European country below2?
[Australia 1.65, Canada 1.6, U.S. 1.7,
NZ 1.86] Afghanistan is 4.0
Synods, Plenaries, Vatican II
all these offer fresh opportunities
but the results matter. Otherwise
it becomes a futile exercise which
does nothing.
Parents are primary educators, not
secondary educators, and should be
respected for this.
Most importantly church is not built
on synods, but on its martyrs and
saints.
