The pictured Labour and Green MPs, the ones “sub Maria” – under the Mary Statue, as well as the NZ First Party all ‘bravely’ opposed the provisions against late term abortion, against leaving a born live “fetus” to die, against pain reduction, and against medical professional conscience.
Will this photo be dredged up in 80 years to show implicit support by Church employees of inhumane politicians?
Attitudes to the A-word tell us a lot about what we really believe about the rule of law, humans, animals, ethics, the nature of government, society, liberty, violence, and power.
A conference about the A-word would be much less popular.
