I agree with you. But I also believe that what personal preference is not something that should be generalised.
It is a common misconception that righteous means traditional.

What truly matters is we offer our best to HIM and that it is acceptable to Him..

As far as this album goes, the hymns have been considered worthy in many Catholic institutions. It also has approval of the archbishop and other priests like yourself.

Would urge you to go through what they have to say.

If the music for the Sacrifice does not reflect: ‘Adoration, Praise, Thanksgiving, Propitiation and Supplication’, then it is not worthy of the house of God!
